Ideally, you won't need to access your app through the console. But for all these times when immediate action is required, we've implemented a console feature.

To access the console feature, your app needs to be running and can have only one instance. Your account also needs to have active subscription as it will not run on trial accounts. 

You can connect to the console of your running app by entering the "Manage" menu of your app:

To access your container console switch to the "Console" tab. You will see a terminal of your app that is provided by a "docker exec" session:

The console will run /bin/bash in your container. If bash is not available for your app it will run /bin/sh instead.

The CLI for this feature isn't supported yet, but it is already planned for implementation.
